Fred Hollows Foundation

Design and video production

Like its founder, The Fred Hollows Foundation has a vision of a world where no one is needlessly blind. Since 2002 The Foundation has been restoring sight as well as training eye health workers in the Pacific Islands, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.

To support the work that the Fred Hollows Foundation does to restore sight, Curative have helped prepare a number of communication pieces including a video which explains how much difference a $25 operation can make to somebody’s life; an appeal pack with a beautiful infographic of what’s happening in Kiribati, and the decal for a mobile eye clinic that is now operating in the outer regions of Fiji.

Each piece of work considers both vision impairment and cultural relevance, and has allowed us to explore a vibrant new visual language for the Fred Hollows Foundation.
